The Hotel Captain Cook, Anchorage

I had mixed feelings about my stay at the hotel. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore downtown and enjoy local attractions. However, my room did not have the promised views and the noise from the toilet was quite disruptive. I appreciated the clean and spacious common areas, but the dining options were limited, and I had trouble securing a table during my visit.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, enjoying the spacious and clean room, which provided a great view. The central location made it easy to access local attractions on foot, though some areas of the hotel were a bit confusing due to the multiple towers. While the dining options were decent, the price for valet parking was a bit steep.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is not only historical but also beautifully decorated, featuring artistic touches from Captain Cook's explorations. The room we had was huge and comfortable, although I would have preferred a larger bathroom. The breakfast and amenities were excellent as well, contributing to a fantastic overall experience, though we encountered some annoying service hiccups at the restaurants.
